St. John Fisher began when a small handful of people desired Catholic Mass in Southeast Orange County. Starting in a hospital chapel on Sunday evenings. Their goal was to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Their thought, provide a means of worship for Catholics and those seeking to become Catholic within the area.
Continuing in prayer and exercising faith, they grew out of that space and began to worship in a school cafeteria from 2020-2022.
They now continue that same pattern of faith as they look ahead to building a Church in the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter. If you are interested in the Catholic faith or are a Catholic who wishes to join in this mission, visit us at our new location.

What is the Ordinariate? The Ordinariate is a diocese that was created under the Pontificate of Pope Benedict XVI for those who are or who wish to be in full communion with the Catholic Church.
The primary mission of the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter is evangelization. The Ordinariate exists for those who are and who will be coming into full communion with the Catholic Church. Through the reverence and beauty of our worship, study of sacred Scripture and charity for those in need, we desire to share the joy of being Roman Catholic!
St. John Fisher endeavors to uphold this mission as well. St. John Fisher welcomes those who have been Catholic their whole lives, as well as those who are wondering what it means to be a Catholic. Join us this Sunday, and unite in our mission!.
Who can attend Mass at St. John Fisher? Anyone, Catholic or not, may attend Holy Mass at St. John Fisher and fulfill their Sunday obligation.
Why is the Mass different than other Catholic Churches? Our form of the Mass (officially known as Divine Worship: The Missal) was promulgated by Rome as a way of reincorporating the spirituality of the British Isles which was separated from the Church during the 16th Century.
Who leads the Ordinariate? in 2016, Pope Francis appointed Steven J. Lopes to be the Bishop of the Ordinariate.
